Tandi : Jibhi's best kept secret

Being a very popular travel destination among travelers, Jibhi is quite famous for its nature and Banjar Valley's beautiful culture. In January 2021, I travelled to Jibhi to spend some time surrounded by nature and exploring the untouched beauty of Banjar Valley, that's when I came to know about a scenic village just 4-5 kms away from Jibhi, named Tandi village and let me tell you it is not about the village it's actually about the route I took towards this magnificent place, most of the tourists who know about Tandi village, considered taxi as an option to reach Tandi, but on a local's suggestion I took a small trek from Jibhi to Tandi, which is about 4 kms and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. I ended up exploring an untouched and totally mesmerizing trek in Jibhi, this video is about my experience of this trek.

Jalori Pass

Jalori Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.134m (10,282ft) above the sea level, situated in the Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, in India. The pass is the nearest mountain pass from Delhi, approximately 600 km away, and is featured on every adventure tourist’s map. Nestled in the peaks of northern Himalayas, make sure you get your vehicle and yourself well-prepared before driving this road. At the top of the Jaluri pass there are restaurants available to take lunch, and a Mahakali temple known as Jalori Mata, visited by thousands of devotees from the nearby villages. The road to the summit is called NH305. It is narrow, steep, uneven and full of potholes, making it a bumpy ride. The pass sits on the way from Khanag towards Shoja. The road to the top is both scenic and challenging
